Postdoctoral Fellow Jen Tuscher joins the lab. Jen received her PhD from the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee in Karyn Frick's lab, where she studied estrogenic regulation of hippocampal learning and memory. In the Day Lab, Jen hopes to study molecular and epigenetic mechanisms that regulate the effects of 17B-estradiol on memory. Welcome Jen!

Day lab PhD student Katherine Savell is named a recipient of a 2017 Trainee Professional Development Award from the Society for Neuroscience. In addition to support to attend the 2017 Neuroscience meeting in Washington, DC, this award gives recipients a chance to present an abstract in a poster session, meet peers, and network with senior scientists.
